Family life, paperwork and SEND support — in one printable system

The FamilyOS Master Collection is a 124-page printable A4 PDF planner with digital filling or typing options for parents, carers and SEND families, delivered as an instant digital download — nothing is posted. When family information is spread across emails, folders, school letters and memory, the next meeting, deadline or difficult morning is harder than it needs to be. It gives you a structured A4 system to record what matters, prepare in advance and find the right page quickly: print the pages you need, file them in a binder and reuse the repeatable logs and trackers.

Printable and digital: fill it in on paper, or type straight into the fillable fields on a laptop or tablet using a free PDF app such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, then save or print. The writing spaces are typeable; the page layout itself is fixed. Additionally if you like and want to use any templets you can easily edit, fill and even remove footer for professional recording option.

What’s inside — 124 printable A4 pages

Foundation & Family Command Centre (pages 1–10)

Your family dashboard, weekly planning, meetings and decisions — one calm system for running the household.

ChildOS (pages 11–20)

Mornings, school bags, homework and reading, made routine — plus rewards, screen time and emotions.

TeenOS & StudentOS (pages 21–30)

GCSE and exam tracking, study sprints, careers, university prep and first steps to independence.

ParentOS (pages 31–40)

The mental load, appointments, meals, money and communication — out of your head, onto paper.

SEND & ADHD (pages 41–50)

EHCP tracking section by section, evidence, meetings, behaviour and sensory support — the heart of the pack.

Educators & Professionals (pages 51–60)

Classroom and casework templates for teachers, SENCOs and social workers.

Healthcare, Carers & Eldercare (pages 61–70)

Care logs, appointments, medication records and emergency information, kept together.

BusinessOS & Life Events (pages 71–80)

Projects and processes, plus guided playbooks for a new baby, starting school, moving house, retirement and emergencies.

Plus: in-depth SEND guidance with an EHCP wording checker and evidence bank, an international help directory with official links, step-by-step pathways for school refusal, homework battles and admin overload, ready-to-use email templates, and quick-reference cards — and more throughout.

Why it matters

Most family paperwork problems are retrieval and preparation problems: evidence is somewhere, a deadline is in a letter, and a meeting arrives before the notes are together. These pages separate the record (what happened), the evidence (what shows a pattern) and the next action (what to do, by when), so a parent, carer or professional can open the binder and see the next step rather than reconstruct it from memory.

How it is different

  • Prompts, not blank boxes. Competitor research for this pack found many SEND planners are organisational rather than strategic — structured sections that do not help in the meeting itself. FamilyOS pages carry prompts, tick boxes, specificity checks and labelled examples.
  • Digital and Printable option: It is design in way so it can be typed and editable. Additionally if you like and want to use any templets you can easily edit, fill and even remove footer for professional recording option.
  • A Section B→F checker. Map each need in Section B to the provision in Section F, test whether the provision states what, who, how often, how long and with what expertise, and flag vague wording such as “access to”, “regular” or “as appropriate” — following IPSEA’s published specificity guidance, cited in the pack.
  • Pathways as well as pages. School refusal, homework and admin pages are sequenced as “do this first, this week, if it gets worse”, with a log, copy-and-adapt wording for school emails and a labelled example.
  • Verified signposting. The help directory and international pages were built from official and recognised sources checked during research; links that could not be verified were dropped rather than printed.

How it is research-based

The SEND and EHCP pages are built around the SEND Code of Practice 0–25 (EHCP Sections A–K and the graduated Assess–Plan–Do–Review approach), the SEND Regulations 2014 timescales for assessment, draft-plan comments and final plans, IPSEA guidance on specific and quantified provision in Section F, established one-page-profile structure (what people like and admire, what is important to the child, how to support them) and the standard Antecedent–Behaviour–Consequence format for observation logs. International pages name the framework and first contact for each country covered and link to official or federally/state-recognised parent routes where verified. This is an organisational aid built around those standards — it is not an official form and does not replace the documents or advice of a school, local authority or professional.

How Are We Unique?

Every DreamingAisles printable is built on careful research, but we don't stop there. Each one keeps growing from your feedback: we add new pages, improve templates and release fresh versions, all free to download again. If an update is just a single new template, we add it as a new image on this listing so you can download it straight away or save a screenshot. Buy once, and your copy keeps getting better.

Who can use it

Parents, guardians and carers organising family life or supporting a child through SEN Support or an EHC plan in England; families elsewhere in the UK and internationally using the orientation pages to find their own system’s first step; teachers, SENCOs and support staff printing pages for their own classroom under the licence below; social workers, carers and other professionals using the organisational pages alongside — never instead of — their employer’s systems and policy; and adults using the ParentOS, carer, eldercare and BusinessOS pages for household and small-team organisation.

How it works

Digital PDF download, A4. Print single-sided for write-in worksheets, logs and trackers so pages can be reordered, shared and reprinted individually. Double-sided printing (flip on long edge) is also safe: every template starts on its own page and is self-contained, so no content continues across a page turn. Suggested binder setup: dividers for Batches 1–8, the quick-reference cards near the front, emergency pages (FamilyOS 68 and 80) behind a marked tab, and spare copies of repeatable logs, the daily impact diary and daily dashboards. The design works printed in black and white.

What is NOT included — please read before buying

  • This is a printable and digitally fillable PDF: type into the writing spaces on a laptop or tablet, or print and write by hand. No DOCX, Canva or Notion version is included. Best for handwritten activities
  • These are standard-style organisational templates, not official EHCP, school, local authority, health or legal forms. Do not submit them as official documents.
  • It is not legal, medical, therapeutic, financial or educational advice. EHCP deadlines in the pack are prompts — your local authority and school letters give your actual dates. Medication pages are for logging only; follow the prescriber’s and school’s plan.
  • International pages are orientation signposting, checked in October 2026. Rules and routes differ by country, state and province; confirm with your local education authority.

Frequently asked questions

How do I print it? Print A4 at home or through a print service. Single-sided suits write-in pages; double-sided (flip on long edge) is safe because each page is self-contained. It prints clearly in black and white.

Can I use it outside England? Yes, with care. The EHCP pages follow England’s system. Pages I1–I10 compare England with the USA (IEP/504), Canada (Ontario), Australia (school plans and NDIS) and Ireland, and point to official first contacts. They are orientation only — check your own authority’s rules.

Will this check my child’s EHCP wording? The Section B→F checker (Bonus B14) helps you test whether provision is specific — what, who, how often, how long, expertise — and flags vague wording, following IPSEA guidance. It supports your own reading of a draft plan; it is not legal advice and cannot assess an individual plan.

Can a teacher or SENCO use it? Yes, for pupils in your own classroom under the licence above. Professional batches are organisational aids and sit alongside your school or employer’s own systems.

Is it fillable on screen? Yes. The writing spaces are fillable fields you can type into with a free PDF app such as Adobe Acrobat Reader, then save or print. The page design itself is not editable, and no DOCX, Canva or Notion version is included.

What if the PDF is not right for me? This is a digital download, so please read “What is NOT included” above and check the page list before ordering. If a file arrives damaged or incomplete, contact DreamingAisles and we will re-supply the file.
